This is the most common way in cutting process. Metal material is heated until ignition temperature with the help of high heat obtained by burning a burnable gas with oxygen and then, the heated area is cut by pure oxygen gas jet. Oxygen burns the metals as a result of the exothermic reaction between oxygen and the heated metal area and blows the burning products, metal oxides, outside from back of the material.
